How To Shorten The Bracelet (for Ladies-Gents watch) #1

How To Shorten The Bracelet (for Ladies-Gents watch)

For Screw in type:

[1] For shortening the metal bracelet of a watch, you need a support and "pin extractor" tool. (Tools can easily get from most of the hardware shop)

[2] [3] Place the bracelet securely in the support and use the "pin extractor" to unscrew as shown to remove the relevant pin. Now the bracelet is detached.

[4] [5] Remove the bracelet from the support and count the number of the links to be taken out. Use the "pin extractor" to remove the second pin. Join the two links, place the pin in the hole and use a wooden hammer to secure in place.

** NOTE **
For the best results, reduce the two sides of the bracelet equally to preserve the balance of the watch. If you only want to shorten one side, remove the link(s) from the side where the 6 o'clock digit is marked
